So after about 2 hours of installation, about an hour & a half under a hooded dryer, and like 6 hours of uncomfortable sleep lol, here’s the results of my flexi-rod set.!
I don’t do these very often because of the time it takes to do them and my hair takes hours to dry, but I didn’t really wanna have to do my hair at all this week. I also used a different technique I seen on a YouTube video (I’ll upload it later). I must say, I didnt like it at first but it grew on me threw out the day.
To ACHIEVE THIS LOOK:
I washed my hair using the Shea Moisture Moisturizing Shampoo and Conditioner. I let the conditioner sit for about 2 hours to make my hair extra soft. I then detangled using my fingers and a wide tooth comb and parted my hair into 4 sections. I used Elasta QP Leave-In Conditioner and applied it in every section. When applying the rods I used Shea Moisture Curl Enhancing Pudding on each strand and a dab of Eco-Styler Argon Oil gel.

What you might not know about moisturizers
"I know a lot people struggle with keeping their hair moisturized especially now in the cooler months. What if it was your technique and not the products? If you use products that contain silicones and sulfates then it is quite possible your products are to blame for your dry hair. If you use natural oils and butters and your hair isn’t retaining moisture you have to figure out what you’re doing to prevent your hair from absorbing and/or retaining moisture.
Here are tips that can help.”
